We have lots in store for this year’s book crawl and can’t wait for you to visit and discover some amazing independent bookstores in the Pittsburgh Region!
Dates for the 2026 Book Crawl have been set for July 18-26, 2026. Join us for 9 straight days of books, coffee, dogs, and amazing bookstore discoveries across Southwestern PA .
What’s a Book Crawl? How do I participate?
A book crawl encourages you to stop and visit participating stores during the dates of the crawl and shop their inventory. At each stop you can get a passport book stamped showing that you have visited that location (passport books are available for free at each participating location). Get enough stamps and you’ll be entered to win a raffle prize put together by all the stores.
Become a VIP Crawl Member!
NEW FOR 2026
VIP Crawl Members can pre-reserve their passport books for a nominal fee, have them shipped directly to them prior to the start of the Great Pittsburgh Book Crawl, and opt in to extra goodies such as Crawl-exclusive swag items.
